A big market for small farms - Farmster is a social marketplace for connecting small farmers with local buyers.
Find produce, connect with farmers, and grow your business! Farmers publish their crops via our smart SMS Chatbot (by texting to 40446 in Kenya), and buyers use the Farmster App to find produce while it is still in the ground. Produce is searchable by crop, location, harvest date, and expected amount, and you may expand your network of farmers by adding contacts.

Source your produce in 5 Easy Steps:
1) Search App for Produce
2) Call the Farmer or Farmster Agent from the app.
3) Agree on a price and quantity
4) Pay for produce via Mobile Money.
5) Pick up produce from farmer.

Farmster Agents help you learn more about the farm produce, and help you come to a deal with the farmer by phone.
Once you agree on a price and quantity, you may pay using the Farmster Paybill via M-Pesa or Airtel Money (coming soon). Farmster guarantees the produce will be according to what is published, or you will get your money back.
